Job Title: Business Development Executive (TX, OK, NM)

Role Description: The Business Development Executive is responsible for expanding the growth of LabCorp Employer Services through the acquisition of new customers. The Business Development Executive is an integral part of the team who will leverage their existing network and create new relationships with prospective customers through various market channels such as direct to employer, benefit brokers and consultants, channel partner relationships and managed care groups. Business Development Executives are an integral part of LabCorp Employer Services growth strategy and have success metrics based on individual and team sales goals. Primary Responsibilities: Drive the acquisition of new customers. Proactively position the Population Health & Wellness portfolio of products and services, building the sales funnel and closing sales increasing the LES market share and aligning to customer needs. Manage the account acquisition process, from initial customer prospecting, contract signature, and relationship management. This includes cold calling, prospecting, proposal generation, contract negotiations, credit approval, etc. Develop and execute cross functional and cross segment strategies which are in line with overall company objectives to grow the Population Health & Wellness customer base. Build and manage relationships with targeted accounts and their business leaders to drive successful closure and ensure future utilization. Monitor and ensure customer satisfaction with ongoing service provided. Develop proposals to enhance business relationships. Provide immediate support for less complex issues. Leverage all tools and resources (including data, sales CRM, target lists, Marketing Department, and regional or national resources) as needed. Collaborate with the operations team as needed to deliver a positive customer experience. Ensure compliance with all company policy and government regulations. The position requires approximately 60% travel. A strong emphasis will be put on prospecting and cold calling by phone and in person. The work location for this position is negotiable, however it is preferred the individual be within the indicated territory as this position will require face to face presentations to prospective and/or current clients.
