Information Security Leader

Please note that this is a 3 month contract position.Looking for candidates that are engaged, energetic and willing to learn. Successful candidates will receive training/experience so they can perform risk assessments for customer applications, function as an ISSO and have a good overall idea of how to protect client from risk. Require candidates willing to help people on the IT side who don’t understand risk or computer security. Extensive experience isn’t necessary, but some is an advantage. Experts are not required for this request, at this time.Responsibilities:• Support the execution of product cybersecurity elements across global programs and services.• Will work with multiple security, IT and engineering leadership/stakeholders and a variety of security, IT and engineering technical resources to identify and plan physical and cybersecurity work to meet/exceed corporate initiatives.• Follows established procedures to assist in the vulnerability scans and/or implementation of security measures and controls• Contributes basic skill in determining a system’s security; recognizes how changes in conditions, operations or the environment can impact it• Participates in the security analysis process by applying security principles, methods (e.g., risk assessment, systems security planning, disaster recovery planning) and toolsEXPERIENCE LEVEL:3+ years experience in information technology with increasing responsibility with 1-2+ years of proven leadership experience with 2+ years experience managing large cross-functional teams/projectsEDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Science, Business or related disciplines preferred or a technically related field OR equivalent related work experience in a multi-site software services environment, OR related project management experienceCERTIFICATIONS: (One or more desired)Comptia A+LeadershipMCSEMCPApplicants must provide their phone number.
