Network Engineer Location - Morrisville, NC 27560. (Onsite) Contract Mandatory Keyword - Palo Alto , Palo Global Protect , VPN technologies, Zscaler Job Description
- Must have 8+ years' experience with managing perimeter security solutions including firewall, VPN, proxy & TACACS
- Should be able to manage and troubleshoot firewall, VPN, proxy & TACACS in large and complex environment
- Should have working experience on Palo Alto & Cisco Firewalls, Squid proxy & TACACS.
- Should be able to manage & interact internal & external stakeholders.
- Should have exposure in multiple cybersecurity technology.
- Should be able to work on design & architecture on Palo Alto / Cisco / other security solutions.
- Good hands on exposure on troubleshooting, change management & incident management & root cause analysis
- Must have expertise in defining Standard Operating Procedures
- Should be able to present solutions & reports to customer.
- Must have expertise in Remote Infrastructure management for network and information security
- Should be able to manage day to day activity of managing perimeter security devices
- Should have knowledge of SQID proxy, managing rules / policy / users & groups on SQUID proxy.
- Understanding on various method of generation of certificate requests and issuing certificate
- Good Experience of Native cloud security on Azure / AWS
- Should have working experience of TACACS solution, integration of network & security devices with TACACS solution.
- Understanding of basic protocols like : HTTP, DNS, TCP, UDP, SSL/TLS, ICMP, FTP
- Hands-on experience in working with network troubleshooting tools like Wireshark, WinMTR, Fiddler, etc
- VPN technologies such as GRE, IPSec and VPN clients
- Experience in ZIA , ZPA and ZDX
- Experience in various Traffic forwarding methods on ZIA and ZPA
- Communicate and manage client needs and expectations
- Minimum 10 + years of overall experience
- Works well in a team environment and independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent listening, verbal and technical writing skills
- Palo Alto / Cisco technical certification
