Our innovative client in Morrisville is seeking a motivated Senior QA Analyst to support software quality assurance and ensure defect-free solutions. You will also work to automate testing activities.
Responsibilities of the Senior QA Analyst:- Collaborate with Product Owner and development team to understand user story requirements
- Design, implement, and execute test plans that ensure desired functionality and criteria have been met
- Devise test plans that test the full functionality of a system from an end user perspective
- Analyze documentation and specifications of existing applications/systems to derive use cases to be tested
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate testing activities
- 5-6 years of quality assurance experience and strong knowledge of methods, principles, and processes
- Experience designing, implementing, and executing test cases and reporting metrics on quality
- Experience using version control tools such as Git or Subversion
- Experience using testing tools such as Postman, Test Cafe
- Understanding of relational database design and experience writing SQL queries against a relational database
- Ability to analyze business requirements and functional/technical specifications to define testing scope and approach
- Clear and effective communication skills to work with technical and nontechnical teams
