Job Description - QA Engineer - REMOTE
QA Engineer Our client is the leader in unstructured and semi-structured data-governance software, which is any human-generated data that is within a company's environment. Our goal is to protect companies' most sensitive information from insider threats and cyberattacks. We do this by allowing organizations to analyze, secure, manage, and migrate their volumes of unstructured data. As a QA Engineer you will design, coordinate, and implement testing activities as well as manual and automated tests.Responsibilities- Contribute as a member of the Remediation QA team, which tests and ensures product quality
- Execute manual and automated test cases on company products
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for the product and specifically for ongoing sprint user stories
- Gain a deep understanding of the product, customers, architecture, and use-cases
- Communicate effectively with project developers to define appropriate test plans, tools, and cases
- Analyze and provide a retrospective for customers' issues, finding areas that need quality focus or change
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in QA and software testing
- Knowledge of QA processes and test methodologies
- Experience in designing, planning and writing test plans and cases
- Good interpersonal skills
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Dedication with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge in IT (servers, storage, permissions)
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Good spoken and written English
- A / B.Sc. degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or related
- Experience with Windows OS, Storages, UNIX, SharePoint, Exchange, Active Directory, O365
- Experience in Cloud technology (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with Rest API
