Job Description

Moen's Manager, Finance is a strategic leader who manages financial analysis and decision support, as well as the annual planning/monthly forecasting processes with our internal business partners. This role will be based at our Global HQ's 3 days/week and work from home 2 days/week.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality decision support and insightful analysis to the Finance Directorwith agreed upon objectives in high integrity and sustainable manner
  • Recommend, establish and implement sustainable and differentiated customer pricing and go-to-market strategies, including enhancing returns to key influencers
  • Manage annual financial plan and monthly forecasting process in an efficient and sustainable manner, working directly with appropriate matrix teams
  • Develop sales compensation and incentive plan recommendations consistent with growing the business and achieving desired share and profitability targets
  • Develop performance management and financial reporting approach and game-plan appropriate for the organization
  • Develop accurate relevant balance sheets and related supporting reconciliations
  • Develop positive business relationships and establish trust with the U.S. Business leadership team and Finance Associates
  • Develop and mentor high quality direct reports
  • Drive continual process improvements that creates actionable insights or increases efficiency
  • Enhance internal IT systems to improve actionable insights or to achieve process efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Science, etc.) is required; an MBA is preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in or serving branded manufactured goods or fast moving consumer goods industry
  • Prior experience should include:
    • Strategic and financial planning process participation
    • Reporting, analysis, and forecasting process ownership
    • Responsibility for owning managerial and statutory close processes
    • Successful contribution in cross functional teams, especially those involving sales, marketing, and operations personnel
    • Preparing analysis for presentation at senior levels
    • Experience with IT systems and managerial reporting tools (SAP, Oracle, Lawson, Hyperion, QlikView, etc.)
    • Track record of process leadership and process improvement
  • CPA/CMA is preferred
  • Must possess strong communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Excel modeling and data management as well as PowerPoint
