Job Description

North 40 Outfitters in Omak, WA, has multiple seasonal openings for our Power Equipment and Lawn and Garden Departments. As a member of our team, you would be responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service, generating sales, stocking and merchandising product, and safeguarding company assets. To thrive in this position, you should be able to work well within a team and handle multiple projects while ensuring that the “little things” get done. Qualifications
- Knowledge of gardening and plants and/or Greenhouse experience a plus
- Knowledge and previous experience working with power equipment is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills, providing our North 40 guests with "WOW" customer service
- Good communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with individuals on a regular basis
- Computer knowledge/experience
- Ability to multitask and take on different responsibilities when necessary
- Eager to perform any task to advance the overall team, willing to share credit, and define success collectively
- Dependable and reliable
- Self-motivated and eager to learn. Proactive and open to change.
- Open availability and a willingness to meet shift requirements, including working on weekends and certain holidays, between the hours of 7am to 7pm Mon-Sat and 9am to 5pm on Sunday; flexibility in scheduling based on business needs
- Physical ability to work outside in all weather conditions, lift up to 60 lbs. frequently, spend up to 100% of work time, other than breaks, standing and moving, climbing and kneeling on concrete or hard surfaces; use of forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders and rolling staircases. Consistent adherence to safety standards
- Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques
