Flight Instructor (CFII)
We are looking for certified flight instructors who are passionate about flying and are committed to teaching the next generation of pilots, while gaining valuable hours and experience necessary for a successful career as a professional pilot. We have both full-time and part-time positions available. Our flight school, Tradewind Flight Services, Inc. is in New Bern, NC. Come join our team!
Summary of Duties:
Perform those flight instructor duties authorized by the Federal Aviation Regulations in accordance with the approved TFSI Training Courses. Ensure your students understand and practice all aspects of TFSI's Training Procedures and Policies including TFSI Safety Standards. Regularly schedule each assigned student to ensure on time progress through the respective course and immediately inform Chief Instructor of any delays in training or unsatisfactory progress. Maintain all appropriate records to include student training records and student logbooks, and ensure that the course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by all assigned students.
Education and/or Experience
Commercial Airplane Single-Engine and Multi-Engine Land
CFI, CFII, MEI
Licenses and Other Requirements
FAA 1st or 2nd class medical certificate
Valid Driver License
