I'm looking for an intelligent, kind, happy, well educated, outgoing personal / executive assistant. I own and operate a very successful, well established business with 40+ employees in North Raleigh. I'm a wife and a mom of two teens who do not yet drive. I volunteer quite a bit at school and we are building / remodeling a new home. I have a very blessed life, but I need help maintaining everything!

I need someone who can help to update and manage my personal / professional calendar, a family calendar, and a calendar for each of my kids. I will require assistance with scheduling appointments with designers, contractors, professional meetings, etc.

This could be a great opportunity for someone who may want to run a household someday and also has aspirations of being a successful business person. The right candidate is intelligent, very kind, patient, fun, funny and comfortable in a variety of surroundings including private school events, business meetings, an occasional charity gala, and a construction site for the new home we're building

An important part of the job is driving my two great kids here and there. Historically I have driven both to and from school and all sporting events and extracurriculars. I cherish my time with them, but they are now going in different directions, literally as they are in different schools. The right helper will give me the opportunity to spend quality time with each of my kids with the peace of mind that the other is being attended to. An excellent driving record and a safe vehicle is imperative. My expectation is that the person who manages this role will be well read, interesting and a great conversationalist. My hope is that my kids could have a pleasant and meaningful exchange with the person who assumes this role. I am looking for more than a driver who gets them from point A to point B while they wear headphones! Homework assistance is not part of the job, but lively communication with intelligent, well read, interesting young people with a love of learning is a must.

On the home front, I need help with the mundane from chopping vegetables for dinner prep, handling dry cleaning, taking cars to be washed, etc. No cooking, cleaning, etc.

As part of my professional life, you will have an opportunity to be part of a well known, very successful and growing business. Your "home base" will be in our beautiful N. Raleigh office, or one of our N. Raleigh homes. If you have experience as a marketing specialist, a social media guru, an aspiring "influencer", and / or a spa professional, this could be a plus. Our office is very well staffed with a loyal group of kind, warm professionals who have been together many years. You will answer directly to me for most issues, but there will be a go - to person for you in the office when I am elsewhere.

You must be extremely organized, detail oriented compassionate and discreet. You must also be willing to wear multiple hats and shift gears at a moments notice. A company phone will be provided that will include an app that tracks your location when you are with the kids. Oh, and you must be comfortable with big friendly dogs. You don't need to care for them, but they are part of the family too.

Having access (gradually) to my business, my home and my kids means there will be a very, very thorough background check and regular, random drug testing. Non-disclosure agreements are standard in this business and necessary for this position.

My hope is I can find someone who appreciates this opportunity, and has respect and fondness for my business and co-workers, our homes and especially my family. I recently had a most incredible young woman as my assistant. She radiates happiness, she's a great conversationalist, super smart and just a wonderful human being. I am so happy for her that she moved out of the area (as she indicated would happen before taking on the position), but she is going to be tough to replace. Candidates who complete final interviews could have the opportunity to speak to myprevious assistant and learn from her what this role is like. I hired another previous candidate to help manage corporate philanthropy and events in my business. If only there were two of him!

There are perks galore for the right person including spa services. The hours are somewhat flexible, but are based primarily on the schedule of the kids. This could be a full time position for someone who has an interest in acting as both an executive assistant and personal assistant. Late afternoon school pick ups and occasional early evening driving is needed if both kids are involved in a sporting event the same evening.

Compensation is hourly, plus mileage reimbursement. A full time role would include medical insurance, 401k, etc.
