JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Cloud Engineer will work as part of a team that provides design, architecture, and migration planning for new customer projects. The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for leading all the technical efforts to successfully migrate a new customer into the RapidScale platform. They will work very closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) for all new customer implementations.

Engineer will be responsible for providing migration support, which includes advanced troubleshooting, architectural design, and management of overall health of services migrating into the RapidScale managed cloud. The position will be a key factor in providing a great customer experience pre and post implementation.Technical Skill Requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):• Maintain multiple customer environments within RapidScale's infrastructure (Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013, and Microsoft SQL 2008/2012).• Provision new customers and provide onboarding assistance.• Provide support on escalated trouble tickets when necessary.• Review entire environment and execute initiatives to reduce failures, defects, and improve overall performance.• Document architectures, procedures, and processes for use by other cloud operators.• Create documentation for helpdesk to use and remediate issues on first call.

Qualifications: EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE & OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:The minimum qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability necessary for an individual to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable amounts of training are provided.EDUCATIONAL & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:• A college degree or equivalent work experience (10+ years).• Excellent communication, presentation, writing, and editorial abilities.• Excellent organizational and time management skills.• Apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope, requiring in-depth evaluation as well as the ability to identify problems in advance, and propose solutions.• Require limited supervision and direction; drive results, and set priorities independently.• Ability to work on a 24x7 on-call rotation schedule

NEEDED ATTRIBUTES:• A proven level of experience in VDI solutions (XenApp 6.5-7.6/XenDesktop 6.5-7.6/ShareFile/NetScaler)• A proven level of competence with Firewalls and Switches, Windows servers, Active Directory, • Ability to demonstrate a high level of competency in managing technical projects• Excellent communication skills.• Experience with project management.• Proficiency in computer usage, internet, and Microsoft Office suite of applications.

This position will require working with several departments and different personalities.• Working Environment:• Fast paced, positive, high energy environment.
