Located 100% REMOTE, Piper Companies is seeking a Kafka Engineer to join our team! Currently, we are looking for someone to be responsible for the design and implementation of tasks that support our Kafka platform.
Responsibilities for the Sr. Kafka Engineer include:- Responsible for architecting, developing, and implementing Kafka solutions, while also providing support on administration and troubleshooting of the Kafka platform
- Help assess the needs of Software Engineering within the Kafka ecosystem
- Establish, communicate, and advocate best practices and design patterns related to Kafka consumption
- Experience implementing Kafka Producer and Consumer applications
- Application development experience using Java or Python
- Knowledge of AWS preferred
- Kafka Certifications a plus
- Salary Range: $130,000 - $155,000 (based on experience)
