Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for a rapidly expanding Software and Services organization in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina. The ideal Technical Support Engineer has a knack for attention to detail and excels at solving complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities for the Technical Support Engineer include:- Troubleshoot, solve and/or escalate issues with their technical environment as it relates to our client's software solution.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and business units to seek out additional training opportunities and knowledge transfers
- The average expected caseload should be between 3-5 cases per week.
- This is a Level 2 Support Position
- At least 3 years of Windows Server troubleshooting experience working directly with business users
- A solid foundation with Active Directory
- Understanding of and ability to troubleshoot problems in large complex technical infrastructure environments requiring experience with, but not limited to:
- Microsoft Exchange, One Drive, Office 365, NetApp Storage, exposure to a variety of Unix and Linux flavors, a basic understanding of networking principles.
- Prior experience using T-SQL (Transact-SQL) for a variety of purposes is highly preferred.
- $70,000 - $85,000 annually
