Overview

As an IT Risk Analyst III, you will be a member of the bank's Information Technology Risk organization. This position provides complex support and expertise to business units through research, developing, data gathering, and executing risk procedures. Secondly, this role evaluates Information Technology potential losses while developing high-impact solutions to minimize or eliminate risk. Lastly the analyst creates improvements to current policy, standards, and processes and procedures, and ensures compliance with relevant rules and regulations. Responsibilities

  • Identifying Risk - Creates and implements complex methods of risk evaluation. Develops expert strategies or solutions to address evaluation results, monitoring to ensure developed solutions are effective. May create models or simulation scenarios to test risk conditions.
  • Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs analysis for risk trends and data discrepancies, effectively communicates analysis output.
  • Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, company trends, and risk factors. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. Enables insight into potential Information Technology losses and mitigation of identified risks through reporting activities.
  • Operational Support - Supports business processes through a variety of escalated operational tasks. Develops, implements, and ensures continuous improvement of standards & procedures. Acts as a resource to management and other associates, including production of documentation, presentations, or other materials to educate on risk policies and procedures.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Risk Analytics or Analytics.

OR

High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Risk Analytics or Analytics.

Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledgeable about frameworks: NIST 800, ISO 27000; Financial Services' Regulatory guidelines and best practice. Possess general ability to understand technology, controls framework, financial regulations, 3rd party relations etc.
  • Analytical skills - data.
  • Expected to be proficient in use of excel functions, pivot tables, graphs, charts, etc.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Computer skills - MS office, SharePoint, Teams, Archer, Service Now software.
  • Self-directed work ethic.
