Job Description:The Credit Loans ASG team in London is part of a global team supporting the Loans trading desks based in London, New York and Singapore. This is a role sat on the London trading floor, specializing in Loans area with a particular focus on the Loan’s front to back trading and operation flows.

Key Responsibilities:This role is extremely client facing. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and an in depth knowledge of Loans trading and processing. They must be comfortable facing off to senior traders and quant developers, as well as senior IT staff in development teams and other support groups. The successful candidate will be expected to form a strong and close relationship with the Front Office, gaining a deep understanding of their complex Front To Back flows and become a Subject Matter Expert for the group. They will be helping the desk deal with day-to-day IT issues, but will also act as the interface into the Development team helping to drive the IT Book of Work to improve the overall environment.

The role is an excellent opportunity to experience a busy Front Office environment, and will involve :• Daily interactions with traders experiencing and helping to resolve IT issues• Becoming an expert in the Credit Loans business• Front Office communication during incidents or outages• Management of changes and releases to the Production Environment• Daily support, monitoring and troubleshooting of the Loans trading platforms• Active and constructive participation in support team discussions• Act as the interface into the development team• Log and track development Book of Work items• Understand current applications and business processes, identify extensions and new functionality• Additional responsibilities such as functional verification of delivered features, ad-hoc system bug analysis, and handling of “business as usual” requests

Technologies Used:Geneos, Scripting (cmd, shell, Powershell), Coherence, UNIX & Windows technologies, Java, Leapworks (Automation), Oracle Databases, Control-M, LoanIQ (vendor application), Hazelcast
