Perform analysis and oversight on the asset database by creating exception reporting and metrics to measure accuracy. Perform analysis and provide recommendations for cost savings for physical asset contracts, both hardware and/or software Investigate new methods of inventory management, including barcoding and RFID, while aligning them with established Centene guidelines and policies and procedures Track all maintenance contracts and software license entitlements ensuring alignment with appropriate assets and coordinate efforts for renewals including removals, changes to maintainance levels, etc. Research methods to secure physical assets and manage inventory efficiently, and maintain asset management policies and procedures and process flowcharts Develop exception reporting and metrics to ensure that all items are entered and accurate and transfers are managed Research items in inventory and resale values, assist in determining when items can be resold, work with various disposal vendors to resell items and track sales Assist with receiving, tagging and securing physical assets in compliance with processes and release/deliver assets and update the chain of custody in the management systemsEducation/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of asset management and control experience, including inventory reconciliation or procurement experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Experience in physical and/or software asset lifecycle management, or related procurement systems.
