- Build and optimize ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
- Lead business, systems & technical analysis and process design with high touch business and business change contact as required across back, middle and front office functions.
- Drive solutions architecture, systems and interface design, data analysis, scenario and use case analysis.
- Opportunities to network across different functions within Product Control and Finance IT
- Authoring advanced SQL and working with a variety of relational SQL and NoSQL databases.   
- Experience working in java/big-data platform for implementing projects with high SLA of data availability and data quality, exposure to public cloud technologies is a major plus.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer & Analytics role
- Experience with Java, relational SQL and noSQL
- Experience with big data tools like Spark, HDFS, Hive, Impala, Scala, Kudu, Kafka, Python programming
- Substantial exposure to enterprise infrastructure, data processing, enterprise software applications
- Flexible, people and organization savvy - ability to work in a matrix environment across regions with fast pace, know how to build effective relationships and communicate effectively with various teams across time zones
- Working experience with CI/CD tools like Subversion/Git, Maven, Jenkins
- Experience in BI Analytical tools like Qlik Sense would be a major plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience at a major investment or global commercial bank
- Familiarity with Finance Business domain, P&L Attribution and/or Risk P&L and BI/Analytics
