- Design, build and deploy dimensional models and ETL pipelines
- Design, build and deploy curated Power BI datasets from dimension models or SSAS tabular models
- Collect, organize, analyze and disseminate large data sets with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Contribute knowledge and documentation to growing our data analysis community in the City.
- Collaborate with members of the business, project teams and IT staff as needed to fulfill the responsibilities described above.
- All other job-related duties as it relates to the job function or as delegated by the management team.
- Enterprise Data Warehousing and dimensional modeling best practices
- Data transformation processes and ETL tools, including SSIS and scripted pipelines with Python, SQL, and/or PowerShell
- Data security best practices and regulatory compliance standards (PCI DDS, HIPPA, CJIS, FISMA) is a plus
- Broad knowledge of business intelligence, analytics, dashboards and reporting tools used to process structured and unstructured data.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications to design, build and deploy business analysis solutions.
- 7 Years Data Warehouse Development and Dimensional Modeling experience.
- 7 Years’ experience in ETL Development with SSIS or similar tool.
- 7 Years T-SQL Experience.
- 2 Years Power BI Experience.
- 2 Years Python and SSAS Tabular Model Development experience.
