Job Title: DevOps EngineerLocation: Raleigh, NC- 27604Duration: Long term Must be local to Raleigh, North Carolina onlyJob Description:General Function:Senior DevOps Engineer role builds real-time applications processing a hundred million updates to our customers daily and is growing at an astonishing rate.Our cloud native application (AWS) is being migrated to Azure and this role will spend its time rearchitecting major aspects of the product to be cloud agnostic. Developers play a key role throughout an iterative and dynamic delivery cycle by working with business analysts, quality assurance engineers, project managers, and operations staff. Team members will rapidly come up to speed on the latest proprietary Refinitiv technology and domain specific languages to deliver projects while also growing their DevOps knowledge. The projects are technically challenging in an environment that is very engaging. Learning is also a meaningful aspect of every member of the team, and continued learning is strongly supported.Roles and Responsibilities:- Work with business analysts to identify the best solution for meeting business requirements
- Deliver high quality code and configuration
- Ensure bug free software through automated regression testing, unit tests, and code reviews
- Collaborate with QA and Operations to ensure successful integration into test and production environments

- Experience with the full life-cycle software development experience
- Experience with Java, Python, PowerShell, scripting languages
- Experience developing on AWS - Lambda, EC2, ECS, CloudFront, ALB, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, etc.
- Experience developing on Azure
- Experience developing with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or similar technologies
- Experience with Microservices or Service Oriented Architecture
- Strong understanding of object-oriented development and design
- Exposure to Agile methodologies
- Experience with automated testing
- Real passion for continued learning and development
- Monitoring with Datadog
