Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .In these roles, you will:Control Management Group- The Senior Control Management Specialists participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Control Management functional area. Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls. Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies. Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area. Provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk. Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations.#GlideRelaunchRequired Qualifications:7+ years of work experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:Rejoining the workforce after taking a current career break of 2+ years

7+ years of prior Risk Management or Control Management experience

A BS/BA degree or higher

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Experience evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls

Financial services, Control, Compliance and/or Risk experience

Experience reviewing testing strategies and methodologies; evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls; and identifying issues resulting from internal and/or external compliance examinations

Knowledge and understanding of banking: regulations, compliance, policies, process, and procedures

Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives

Ability to prepare and present senior level communications

Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

Ability to work closely with each of the product business leaders to promote a strong risk culture to ensure effective communication and collaborative partnerships

Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

Ability to evaluate risks and the impact of decisions on an overall organization

Job Expectations:Must be able to attend full duration of 8-week internship program working hybrid in office a minimum of 3 days per week from September 12- November 4 with an anticipated promotion for those successful in internship to full-time roles the week of November 7
