Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide technical resources, systems and training that support agency mission through the effective and efficient delivery of community based program services. Maintains program hardware, software, communication and video systems and ensures alignment with corporate initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides user software/hardware support including setup/repair/upgrade of computers, printers and phone system.

2. Conducts software/hardware support including installation, upgrades and troubleshooting.

3. Does custom programing and runs standard reports from systems.

4. Trains users on hardware and software.

5. Ensures computer security (antivirus, back up procedures, firewall) is working properly and follows corporate policies.

6. Ensures network switches and wireless network connectivity are properly maintained to prevent outages and optimize performance.

7. Documents MIS procedures and develops reports.

8. Analyzes metric reports and uses this information to keep systems running at maximum capacity.

9. Participate in purchasing decisions and budgeting.

10. Carries out the internal audit of program and customer data.

11. Participates in the design and implementation of customer related forms.

12. Provides maintenance on social media, websites SharePoint sites.

13. When in centers, protects the safety of children by implementing active supervision techniques to ensure no child is left alone or unsupervised at any time.

14. Develop and document progress on professional development plan for self and assigned staff. Facilitates and engages in professional development activities to increase qualifications in accordance with Corporation’s Core Values.

15. Ensures the mobilization and documentation of matching/in-kind funds.

16. Assists with or inventories computer equipment.

17. Attends meetings and participates in training.

18. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position directly supervises others. This may include participation in the recruitment/selection process for new hires, employee training, onboarding, conducting performance coaching/evaluation, compensation administration, delegation of duties and conflict resolution. Promotes an environment of teamwork and cooperation and is accessible to employees.

Qualifications

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience Requirements

An Associate’s Degree in a related field is required.

Must be able to get certification for CPR and First Aid after hire and recertify as required.

Minimum of three years of computer systems experience.

Minimum of one year of management experience.

Experience and demonstrated abilities in LAN administration and personal computer troubleshooting.

Experience providing adult training and education preferred.

Must have own transportation, a valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance.

Skills and Abilities

Microsoft Office products and on-line client management systems.

Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications.

Knowledge of telecommunication systems.

Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.

Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

Ability to communicate technical processes to non-technical individuals.

Additional Information

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

This job is a mixture of desk work and connecting and moving equipment which requires walking, stooping, squatting, lifting (up to 50 lbs), carrying, pushing and climbing.

Driving/sitting for prolonged periods of time.

Occasional exposure to adverse weather conditions, temperature extremes.

Occasional exposure to blood, other bodily fluids, cleaning chemicals and dirt.

Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen.

Keyboarding and data entry, use of telephone. Repetitive hand motion.

Exposure to potential hazards such as electrical shock.
