job summary:

We have a direct FTE role for a QA engineer in Raleigh, NC. This position will work in QA teams that involves with automation and manual test for products integrated with hardware, firmware, software and 3rd party products at a system level. The primary focus is on Window/iOS/Android native application and others. Candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain test plans and test cases.
  • Plan and execute feature, regression, and manual testing of core system components including hardware and firmware products
  • Ensure that all failures and anomalies are corrected or dispositioned and verified before next build.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards
Required Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 6 months or more experience in software desktop or web testing.
  • attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
  • Understanding of network equipment like Network switch/hub, router and etc. and network protocols like TCP/IPC, UDP.
Desired Experience

  • Experience testing consumer or commercial electronics driven by software
  • Understand or experience with .Net.
  • Working knowledge of Agile Development Practices and Scrum methodologies
  • Basic knowledge of SQL Query.
  • Experience with mobile testing
  • Understanding of Python/Javascript/C#
