Role: SCCM / Intune Systems Administrator Location: Raleigh, NC (2 days in office, 3 days remote) Type: Contract Job Description: Position: SCCM / Intune Systems Administrator Description: Resource is needed at the SME level for Microsoft Intune integration. Intune is SCCM's mobile device and application management counterpart. Unlike SCCM it is cloud native and is used to deliver software updates to mobile devices. It is part of Microsoft's Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS) suite. This resource must be technical in nature and will support USPS Endpoint Technology Engineering and primarily work with and support Endpoint Technology Infrastructure and Software Distribution Services. CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Proficiency is the management of endpoint systems including Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android. Experience setting up and maintaining one of the following tools including Microsoft System Center, SCCM, System Center Operations Manager, MobileIron, Microsoft or Azure Intune. Proficient in using one or more endpoint and software management tools including Microsoft System Center, SCCM, System Center Operations Manager, MobileIron, Intune, Adaptiva OneSite, or Adaptiva Endpoint Health Knowledge and demonstrated ability to script (batch files, VBScript, PowerShell, Python) to resolve and proactively prevent Windows workstation issues. Ability to troubleshoot and triage complex Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android issues, including automating proactive health processes. Building, configuring, testing, and implementing images for Windows and MacOS PowerShell scripts SME integration experience with Intune 4+ years' experience Must have Microsoft Intune expertise and have built images on Mac OS, windows and preferably on Chrome also. Software and hardware troubleshooting skills to resolve issues arising due to Windows 10, Mac OS, iOS, and Android Operating systems. Ability to build, create workstation images and provision using Microsoft System Center, MobileIron, and Intune. Deploying OS version updates to mirror the cadence of Microsoft's Windows 10 Semiannual release channel. Ability to evaluate and apply Apple Mac OS and iOS update releases, and Android update releases. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) configuration and troubleshooting experience. Microsoft Intune configuration and troubleshooting experience. Microsoft Intune - Experience in Modern Workplace systems such as Azure/Intune and co Management, Creating Security Policy, Device Compliance, Conditional Policies, Autopilot, Troubleshooting Modern Device Management (MDM)Issues. Ability to provide recommendations around SCCM vs. Intune and/or hybrid implementations, Windows Update for business. Strong PowerShell scripting. SQL 2016 Queries, reporting and basic troubleshooting. Conditional Access Policies management in Intune. Window In place Upgrades (IPU) & OSD, app Patch management experience leveraging inputs from Desktop analytics and endpoint Analytics. Provided escalation support. Broad understanding of an array of overall Infrastructure technologies and their use, such as: Windows Server, Active Directory, Intune, VDI, SCCM, Windows 10, Azure, 0365. Experience in enterprise security related to Bit locker and end point protection. Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field. Additional Provisions: Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks. Please note that any usage and detection of cannabis with or without a prescription will result in a failed US Postal clearance regardless of the legalization under State Laws. Once candidate's resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process. If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance. All candidates must be a US Citizen, or have permanent residence status (Green Card). Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years. Cannot have more than 6 months' travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.) All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
