AECOM is actively seeking a creative and highly talented Senior Hydraulics Engineer based in Raleigh, North Carolina. This position will serve as a technical lead and support role on drainage and hydraulic transportation projects and designs.Typical duties and responsibilities:Preparing and reviewing working drawings, plans, cost estimates, studies, reports and other work productsAnalysis and design of stormwater drainage system, hydraulic structures, and highway drainage systemsPerform independent tasks and reviewing technical work of others.Mentor, lead, and training junior level staff.Drafting technical reports and memoranda.Face to face interaction with clients.Will manage staff on complex projects and coordinate with public agencies.Independently manage technical tasks and staff.Work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.Participate in developing services for planning, design, engineering, procurement and contracting, permitting and construction services.Participate in developing practices for public agencies to maintain compliance with stormwater regulations.
