This role is responsible for the maintenance, support, and operations of ServiceNow production instances. This includes ensuring functionality and usability are aligned with the organization’s priorities, enabling delivery teams to do their work effectively.

The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for diagnosing and resolving application issues to ensure optimal performance and usability and providing root cause analysis with recommendations for improvements. He or she will also be accountable for performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly operations tasks required for the ongoing functionality of the platform. Some scripting and debugging duties will be required in order to troubleshoot and fix various issues.

Job Knowledge:• Advanced skill in configuring and supporting ServiceNow• Strong ITIL/SDLC background and debug/troubleshooting skills• Advanced ability to research, analyze and recommend improvements to the organization’s use of the system• Skill in creating and maintaining technical documentationInterpersonal Skills:• Effective working relationships with all functional units of the organization• Working ability to effectively recognize and manage interpersonal communication needs• Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork and facilitation• Able to work independently or as part of a teamCommunication Skills:• Effective communication skills; verbal, non-verbal and written; and ability to communicate on all levels of the organization

Responsibilities:• Works to resolve ServiceNow Incidents in a fast and solution-oriented manner• Working with team members to resolve technical issues• Identifying and documenting Problems• Assisting in the creation and maintenance of Knowledge Articles• Collaborating across functional lines to understand and resolve issues• Understanding and supporting custom ServiceNow platform applications

Required Skills:• Must have 2+ years of proven track record as a ServiceNow administrator with a deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices• Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills required with exemplary communication ability, both written and verbal• Proven experience with Javascript and configuring workflows• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (preferred)Applicants must provide their hone number.
