- Utilize process and instrumentation diagrams to detect issues in the facility (pumps, valves, tanks, distillation columns)
- Own change control requests and address deviations
- Identify and implement process improvement measures on existing equipment throughout the facility
- Complete validation protocols on equipment and maintain safety while handling raw materials and chemicals such as phosphoric acid, nitric acid, sodium hydroxide, citric acid, ethanol, etc.
- Provide routine support and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Maintain compliance with GMP regulations
- B.S./M.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a related field of study
- 1-5 years of experience in an engineering production environment or related field
- Experience in troubleshooting mechanical issues in equipment such as pumps, valves, tanks, distillation columns, etc.
- Experience with regulated environment's that have abided by FDA, OSHA, or EPA rules
- $40-$60/hr., depending on relevant industry experience
