Nantucket Grill and Bar is a popular, upscale North Raleigh restaurant specializing in New England-style cuisine. While Nantucket Grill has three locations throughout the Triangle, our North Raleigh location is currently hiring professional and experienced servers for both full and part-time positions.
Here at Nantucket, we combine our high-quality cuisine with impeccable customer service to provide our guests with an unparalleled dining experience. To ensure that we are providing our customers with the best of the best, we depend greatly on our wait staff.
Job duties include:
Represent Nantucket Grill in a professional and advantageous manner
Greet & interact with guests, present menus & specials, and make dining suggestions
Answer guest questions about our unique food and drink menus and offerings
Ensure quality service is provided to guests
Provide prompt yet accurate service
Use handheld POS to send orders to the kitchen
Prepare guests' bills and use handheld POS to take payment
Manage the cleanliness of dining room
Run food, bus tables, and reset tables all in a timely manner
Top candidates should excel in the following categories:
Exceptional customer service skills
Proven ability to excel as part of a team
Positive attitude
Critical thinking & problem solving
Experience using point of sale (POS) systems
Proficient in multi-tasking
Serving experience preferred
Bar or alcohol experience a big plus!
Candidate must be motivated and have a strong work ethic. Free time should be used productively. Employees who go above and beyond the basicsĀ will be rewarded!

Adequate transportation is required
Flexible schedule is required - must be available on Mondays and Sundays
