Oak City Pizza & Grill is hiring Pizza Cooks to join our small, locally owned team. We are looking for reliable, hard working people who care about doing things the right way and want steady hours in a fast paced kitchen.
ABOUT THE JOB:
Position: Pizza Cook / BOH teammate
Hours: 25 to 40 per week
Schedule: Early afternoons and evenings, including some closing shifts
Employment: Full time and part time available
Pay: Very competitive, based on experience
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Make pizzas according to our recipes and standards
- Stretch dough, top pizzas, and run the oven
- Help with prep (sauces, toppings, portioning, etc.)
- Keep your station clean and follow food safety rules
- Help with closing duties such as cleaning and restocking
- Work as part of a small, tight knit team
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Pizza cook experience strongly preferred, but we will train the right person with line cook experience
- Willing and able to work some closing shifts
- Reliable, on time, and ready to work
- Able to handle a busy rush while staying focused on quality
- Good attitude and team mindset
We are a mom and pop shop owned by NC State alumni, not a big chain. If you want to actually be part of a team and not just a number, this could be a great fit.
