A highly regarded IT company is looking for a experienced NOC technician (2nd shift, 3 PM - Midnight) with a background in troubleshooting, installing and monitoring network equipment! This job will consist of the following:
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and install predominately Cisco network equipment, some work with Avaya, and Adran as well. Heavy concentration on Cisco switches and routers.
- Heavy BGP OSPF protocols
- Resolve complex network problems involving power, network hardware and software, lines, modems and terminals. De-escalating complex trouble tickets.
- Ability to troubleshoot IP subnetting, routing, VPN's, etc.
This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity, with contractors ideally having acquired CCNA certification Contractors must be comfortable with working overnight hours!
