SQL Developer Direct Hire Location: Raleigh, NC
Applicants must have 5+ years of experience in working with Microsoft SQL Server Essential Duties and Responsibilities -- Participate in database design and architecture to support application development projects
- Prepare design specifications and functional documentations for assigned database projects
- Identify any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measure
- Optimize database systems for performance efficiency including ETL processes
- Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development
- Build, execute, and monitor database jobs
- Collaborate with departments within the organization to translate business requirements into system requirements
- Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and company policies and procedures
- 5+ years of experience in working with Microsoft SQL Server, including specific experience developing stored procedures, triggers, ETL/SSIS packages
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient working in a DevOps environment
- Solid troubleshooting skill set required
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience developing Tableau and PowerBI dashboards is preferred
- ERP systems experience is preferred
- Experience with clinical and financial domains
- Ability to work extended, non-business hours is required
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 4-year degree in computer science, business, or related field
- Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Agile framework in a DevOps environment
