Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Writer- IT Supply Chain Systems for a growing biotech company located in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area. The Technical Writer - IT Supply Chain Systems role is a 6 month contract with extension. The Technical Writer - IT Supply Chain Systems will be assisting with writing SOP documents and will need to work EST hours.
Responsibilities for the Technical Writer - IT Supply Chain Systems include: • Work closely with the IT and business teams to understand the applications and systems • Develop and create documentation from scratch for internal and external purposes • Create documentation for various audiences that are both technical and non technical • Review and revise any existing documentation written by others with an eye for maintaining consistency, clarity, and "voice" • Participate in documentation initiatives around ongoing improvements to existing content, usability, and context, internal process, and evaluating new tooling and content delivery methods Requirements for the Technical Writer - IT Supply Chain Systems include: • Over 5 years of professional technical writing experience • Experience writing documentation for SAP and supply chain applications/systems • Strong experience writing SOPs in a regulated environment • Experience creating documentation for both a technical and end user audience • Experience working with various tools and technologies • Self starter and can own a project from start to finish • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor's Degree Compensation of the Technical Writer - IT Supply Chain Systems: $80,000 - $140,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package • No relocation assistance, sponsorship, or C2C arrangements available Keywords: Technical Writer, DocumentationVacancy expired!
