Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Project Manager for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Information Technology clients in Raleigh, NC or Remote. Responsibilities :

  • Manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement to existing processes
  • Manage all phases of the project through to delivery
  • Define key performance parameters and create reports to track progress
  • Work with Engineering, UX, Marketing, and other groups to ensure project is resourced for success
  • Maintain compliance with corporate and public relations
  • Perform data analysis relevant to project tasks
  • Maintain ownership and accountability for project schedule
  • Effectively communicate project status; including schedule variance and mitigation options
  • All other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of IT PMO experience
  • Bachelor's degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent experience
  • Self-Starter and highly adaptable to changing needs and priorities within the organization
  • Experience delivering on projects of various size and duration
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and deliver key initiatives
  • Experience coordinating team workflow in a fast-paced, deadline-driving environment
  • Experience partnering with other project stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate project impacts
  • Experience collaborating with IT, Marketing, Product Management to deliver shared results
  • Detail-oriented and ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and priorities
  • Strong organization/project planning, time management and change management skills across multiple functional groups and departments
  • Strong problem-solving experience involving leading teams and identifying, researching, coordinating the resources necessary to effectively trouble-shoot/diagnose complex project issues
  • Prior success extracting/translating findings into alternatives/solutions and identifying and tracking risks/impediments to project schedule
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills applicable to a wide audience including senior and executive leadership, customers including diction/terminology and presenting information in a concise and effective manner using assorted communication mediums

  • Data analysis skills
  • Experience using MS Office, Jira/VersionOne or other Agile tools
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Agile knowledge and processes
Preferred Skills:
  • Project governance certification (PMP, Agile, etc) preferred
