Senior QT Application Designer

Seeking a Senior Software Engineer who can lead our clients Qt-based applications efforts as well as design custom user interfaces to address the needs of the Scientific Computing team. Our client provides the best in R&D, scientific computing, and more, focus ing on areas such as 3D reconstruction, object detection, image manipulation detection, motion pattern learning , and anomaly detection.

In this position, Guide UI development in the Scientific Computing Team. Design custom user interfaces for scientific computation and visualization applications Have the opportunity to work with both national laboratories and commercial customers.

This is a direct-hire opportunity with excellent benefits and perks. While the company is currently remote, candidates can sit in either the Raleigh, DC, or NYC metro area. Candidates should be eligible for a US security clearance. No subcontracting arrangements are available.

Qualifications

  • Qt 5.x Proficiency
  • Over 5 years of experience in UX design
  • Provide examples of graphical user interfaces you have developed.
  • Experience in creating custom Qt Models and Views.
  • C11 Proficiency
  • Minimum B.S. in computer science or a related field with corresponding emphasis on visualization, computational science, and good software development practice
  • Good communication skills
