We are seeking a candidate that will be a highly skilled team member of our Client's IT Service Department. This candidate will be providing application support for both Apple and Microsoft devices, as well as working with their server and application administration processes designed to assist in the day to day operation of the Visually Impaired.
Job Requirements:
- Support knowledge of Windows 10, macOS Jaguar and above, and iOS 10 and above (includes troubleshooting)
- Support knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Software Suite applications
- Must be familiar with Accessibility options for both iOS, OSX, and Microsoft Windows 10
- Experience in supporting IP Phones, Apple iPad hardware and software applications
- Experience with Active Directory
- Support knowledge of laptop hardware and software, Cisco hardware; as well as troubleshooting printer and network problems
Experience/Knowledge of a Screen Reader or Low Vision Accessibility software is not required but a PLUS.
Job Duties Include:
- Implement, and document all Assistive Technology configuration changes, for employees with disabilities (e.g., speech output, voice recognition, telecommunication devices for the deaf, screen magnification, Braille translation, and scanning software) on the network.
- Install software and test applications for accessibility.
- Install, test, and configure Windows 10 workstations with Assistive Technology device software and hardware.
- Troubleshoot Level 3 Windows 10 compatibility problems.
- Communicate and attend meetings with faculty and staff.
- Develop and document solutions for preventive maintenance.
