Screen Medics has been the NC Triangle’s go-to for window and porch screens for over 10 years. We’re a local, mobile team that installs and repairs window screens, porch screens, and storm doors. From small repairs to full porch conversions, we make homes better—one screen at a time.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking experienced subcontract installers / carpenters (1099) to handle screen and porch installations throughout the Triangle.
This is subcontract work, not a W-2 position—you’ll be paid per project with steady jobs available for reliable, skilled crews or individuals.
You:
Have solid carpentry or construction experience
Take pride in clean, detailed work and doing the job right the first time
Are reliable, professional, and comfortable working directly with homeowners
Have your own tools, transportation, and insurance
Enjoy working outdoors and solving problems on-site
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Build and install window and porch screens
Repair and replace damaged screens
Install aluminum screen and storm doors
Work on 3-season porch conversions
Handle minor carpentry and finishing tasks as needed
PAY STRUCTURE
Pay: Per-job or per-project rates based on scope and experience
Schedule: Flexible daytime work
Location: Jobs dispatched from our Raleigh shop and across the Triangle
REQUIREMENTS
General carpentry or construction experience (required)
Screen, door, or porch experience (preferred but not required)
Must have own reliable vehicle, tools, and valid driver’s license
Liability and Workers Comp insurance (required for subcontractors)
Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work safely on-site
