Proven experience with a technical specialty across large and complex implementations and systems.The North Carolina Department of Information Technology (NCDIT) Transportation is seeking a GIS Technical Specialist contractor for an approximate 12-month engagement. The position will be assigned to the GIS Unit to specifically provide Business Analysis support to the GIS Unit’s Project Delivery team. This position will primarily support project ATLAS software and data development but may engage in supporting other Project Delivery tasks or projects such as SPOT On!ine or the Comprehensive Transportation Planning Toolset. The responsibilities of this support service is gathering and documenting requirements, tracking and guiding the Project Delivery tasks and collaboration for the effective delivery of the software.
