Our client seeks a customer support engineer to join a team of extremely talented engineers supporting strategic accounts. This is a great opportunity for someone with patience and an empathetic view of the customer to hone their skills and advance their career providing value to customers while working with an industry leader in technology. The successful candidate will have a track record and desire to excel at both technical issue resolution and customer management.

You will be part of a dynamic, fast paced and supportive team that will build you up as you manage the technical support for some of our client's biggest customers. You will be given the opportunity to work alongside many of our client's Technical and Advanced Service organizations and will receive unique insight into the IT services industry all the way from pre-sales to day 2 support as an engineer focused on some of client's key customers.

Understanding of the following is required to be considered for this position: Unified Computing System (UCS) administration and troubleshooting Network connectivity troubleshooting Layer 2 and 3 Nexus (NX-OS) applications Storage Devices (EMC/NetApp)

Additional Skills: Flexibility with shifts ITIL understanding Familiarity with Citrix Xen Desktop technologies a plus Familiarity with VMWare Technologies is a plus

Job Duties: We are looking for an engineer with on-the-job experience troubleshooting Data Center and virtualized environments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in routing and switching, Unified Computing Technologies (UCS) and Nexus switching platforms. • Solid understanding of UCS blade servers and their relationships to virtualized infrastructures • Solid understanding of NetApp or EMC storage • Experience troubleshooting the Unified Computing System via UCSM or CIMC (CLI) • Experience troubleshooting network connectivity in a layer 2 environment. • Experience working in multiple ticketing platforms and the ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously while providing timely resolutions to customer issues Candidate must have strong organizational skills and be self-motivated
