Job Description

About This Role

Leads warehouse team in performing all warehouse functions, performs warehouse functions, coordinates activities and communicates to other departments. This is a rotating day of week position. Week one is Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Week 2 is Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday.

WhatYou’llDo

  • Interfaces with other departments to ensure that warehouse functions are being performed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provides training in and performs warehouse functions.
  • Investigates and resolves issues within warehouse operations.
  • Receives materials, delivers orders, monitors freezers, leads team of material handlers, counts, and adjusts inventory, and performs end of day shipping adjustments and transfers to inter-company locations.
  • Operates fork truck.
  • Remains knowledgeable and complies with all DOT and Hazmat regulations.
  • Coordinate’s validation projects as needed.
  • Revises SOP's as needed.
  • PerformsCAPA and TRN activities.
  • Performs cycle counts, investigates discrepancies, and implements corrective measures.

Who YouAre

You are a highly motivated Warehouse professional who can manage warehouse operations and a team in performing warehouse activities while ensuring GMP compliance. You are able and willing to work PM, rotating 12hr. shifts (6 pm to 6 am). You havesupervisor or previous lead experience. You are a hard working leader and understand how to work with, motivate and lead others.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma plus a minimum of4 years related industry experience or an Associates of Arts Degree with a minimum of2 years related industry experience or a bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years of warehouse operations experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of cGMP's as applicable to warehouse operations.
  • Competency in an ERP system (Oracle) as related to warehouse operations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Forklift Operator's and training license preferred
  • DOT/IATA certification preferred
