About This Role

Our Cell Culture teamis looking for a self-starter who takes accountability, is willing to learn quickly in a dynamic environment, and prioritizes accurate and ethicaldata recordkeeping.In cell culture, we work in biosafety cabinets with mammalian cell culture and harvest in shake flasks and wave bags, stainless steel bioreactors, and centrifuges.We prioritize the possession of a few soft skillsin addition totechnical experience, with the opportunity for continued career developmentand on the job training. Key soft skills to look for are teamwork, interpersonal skills for conflict resolution, teachability, patience, andwillingness to follow procedures. Preferred technical skills include prior cell culture, GMP experience,bioworksor biomanufacturing training, and degrees in microbiology, fermentation engineering, biotechnology, or biology.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do

  • Work in and help maintain a safe working environment
  • Perform and monitor criticalupstreamprocesses
  • Help maintain cleanliness and audit readiness of process area
  • Perform and document cGMP manufacturing activities according to standard operating procedures, solution lot records and batch production records, both paper and electronic.
  • Operate bioreactors up to 15,000L working volume
  • Perform in-process sampling and sampling analysis (pH,Osmolarity,Cell Counts,etc.)
  • PerformThaws and splitsusing Aseptic technique
  • Mediapreparation andproductionsupport activities(COP,Autolclave, etc.)

RequiredEducation / Experience

Manufacturing Associate II: 

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) in addition to 6 months of direct experience/1 year of related experience OR 

  • BioWorkCertificate,Associate’s Degree, orBachelor’s degree with limited to no experience
