Note : Testing of the procedure itself and not running it at costumer siteThe position has high percentage of manual testing in lab while the goal is to automate as much as possible.What you’ll achieveAs a Software Quality Engineer, you will develop, revise and maintain test plans, test cases and automated test scripts that include resource requirements, schedule assumptions and scope based on pre-determined product requirements. You will work with Product Development, Product Management and the Customer Support teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate to develop comprehensive test plans across Dell’s product portfolio. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:General SummaryIn general, the position will require:a. Doing physical actions (disconnecting and connecting cables/parts) in labb. Running and observing action using CLI (command line interface) and WebUIc. With growth of knowledge deep diving in the software code to find the issues and risky area’s and creating new tests.d. Open head - In order to test better the position will require studding other areas of the System and be updated with the product improvements.e. Someone who will work closely with development/ QA teams.Required CompetenciesExperience and knowledge in manual testing in lab setting/ hardware configuration or infrastructure and/or automating tests that operate across multiple server and client machines.

Knowledge and experience in operating systems: Linux, Windows

Executing and analyzing and debugging in scripting and automation environment.

Desired CompetenciesExperience of developing test automation infrastructure and/or automating tests that operate across multiple server and client machines

HW knowledge

2+ years of QA experience in analyzing large and diverse systems, understanding of QA processes and procedures

Python coding skills or scripting - advantage

BS or MS in technical field (engineering, computer science, etc.)
