Measure and maintain buyer and supplier performance by regularly reporting R&O site material availability metrics and drive opportunities for improvement. Clearly communicate committed delivery dates to leadership and the R&O site teams, ensuring that delays and parts at risk are quickly identified and escalated appropriately. Work with buyers and/or suppliers to expedite urgent orders when needed to meet customer delivery commitments. Build strong relationships to help promote effective communication and support. Hold buyers and suppliers accountable for missed commitments and help to identify appropriate recovery plans when necessary. Understand the needs of our repair shops, our customers, understand supplier delivery commits and evaluate plant stock opportunity for interdivisional movement using SAP, and effectively communicate need and associated expectations for material availability to the R&O sites.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure material availability for Honeywell’s Repair & Overhaul sites
Manage metrics and maintain the performance of material for repairs and services to Aero R&O sites
Negotiate and communicate delivery dates, identifying critical shortages and delays that may require escalation
Review and help address supplier issues when necessary, ensure delivery to site and customer needs
Develop strong relationships with fellow buyers, encourage effective communication
Provide daily status on critical items to internal stakeholders
Small-scale project management in support of R&O
YOU MUST HAVEBachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 1-2 years of procurement experience
Fluent in English
Must be a US Citizen due to contract requirements
WE VALUEKnowledge of purchasing systems
Strong communication skills and a team player
Good organizational - ability to prioritize and do problem solving
Medium amount of years of experience in a purchasing
English fluent, any other language is a plus
Planning, negotiations and agreements/contract management experience
Good technical knowledge of Procurement/sourcing
