Position Summary: The Sr. Portfolio Manager, Solutions Delivery - Data Integration, will be an integral leader within the Data Integration team responsible for our organization's integration technology and delivery, while driving an organizational shift to modern integration through APIs and messaging delivered in an agile manner, leveraging DevOps practices and tooling. You will be a hands-on technical leader within the Data and Integration department and will play a critical role in portfolio planning, solution architecture, technical design, development, implementation and roll-out of all projects within the department including ongoing operations. The candidate is expected to demonstrate leadership expertise to establish strategic direction and significant depth of technical, business and financial expertise in Integration technology solutions, as well as deep understanding of customer processes and business operations. Additional responsibilities include mentoring the associates within the team to help educate and train in latest technologies in the Integration space. Basic Qualifications:- Relevant Bachelor/Master's degree - Engineering/Management
- 7+ years of Software Development experience
- 5+ years effectively leading large, complex projects/programs with significant change impact, multiple dependencies within and organizational boundaries
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise grade solutions in a secure way
- Experience with a range of Enterprise Integration practices and technologies, spanning batch files, messaging, ETL and APIs across diverse systems and applications from legacy mainframe to modern cloud
- Experience establishing and leading an agile team with DevOps practices and technology
- Experience with cloud-native platforms, Azure preferred.
- Hands-on experience designing systems that use modern distributed Software Architecture Patterns (e.g. Event Streaming, Microservices, Service Bus, etc.)
- Critical thinking and sophisticated problem-solving ability required
- Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Good working Experience on APIs and communication mechanisms like Kafka, MQ
- 5 + years of experience with performing design and code reviews.
- 2+ years working in DevOps or DevSecOps environment
- Hands-on experience in programming/development skills applied within the enterprise application integration space
- Understanding and thorough experience with Agile practices such as scrum and Kanban along with the ability to promote best practices where opportunities present themselves
- DevOps practices and tooling such as CI, CD, infrastructure-as-code, pipeline automation, Jenkins, git, ansible
- MuleSoft AnyPoint experience
- Integration product experience, for example; IBM, BEA, Oracle, TIBCO, Informatica, Cast Iron, Dell-Boomi or Jitterbit, OFMW, webMethods, etc.
- Experience in technologies like: OpenShift/Kubernetes/AKS, Azure Functions, Networking, Firewalls, Certificates, Load Balancers, Docker, Elastic Search, Grafana, Kibana, Nexus, SonarQube, Jenkins
- Leadership: Lead and manage IT Development team in the areas of Integration Solution Delivery and IT Service Delivery to develop and establish a high performing and service driven culture that will deliver high productivity
- Data Integration Operations: Ensure the consistency of the enterprise architecture for Data Integration including the transition from current to future state, considering the best use of current [old-legacy-bespoke], new-bespoke and package solutions, and planning the decommissioning of redundant solutions.
- Innovation & New technology: Stay abreast of innovations and technology trends within our industry and understand the impact on our organization. Incorporate the innovation agenda into the Data Integration IT strategy and roadmap to accelerate delivery of the business strategy
- IT Strategy & Roadmap: Define the Data Integration IT strategy, roadmap, and transition plan - including life cycle management - that enables the organization to achieve its business strategy and financial performance targets.
