Position Summary: A Systems Analyst V is an experienced IT professional who excels with implementation, enhancement, validation, and maintenance of IT applications and/or infrastructure systems. Looking for a strong candidate who has extensive experience in VMware, Linux, CornShell, qmaster. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide Level 4 on-call Support • Troubleshoot day-to-day issues and end user requests • Monitor builds of Retail Linux and EXSI environments • Structure Security Hardening/Patching • Support retail hardware/software solutions • Collaborate with internal IT teams to deploy solutions • Automate existing environment and provide ideas for improvement/streamlining • Document build/support solutions Basic Requirements: Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent Experience Experience will be evaluated as a combination of education, job experiences and recent growth and performance. 8+ years of experience in related fields Skills and Abilities: • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills • Drive to look for issues and execute towards resolution • Critical thinker and problem-solver • Oral and/or written communication skills • Ability to influence leadership • Attention to detail • Ability to manage own work time and priorities in accordance with aggressive timelines and budgets • Rapidly diagnose issues and suggest solutions • Develop and maintain high quality software products supporting the organizations standards Knowledge: • Rhel 7.x • VMware VSAN • Virtualized Networking Concepts (VDS, Firewall, NIOC etc.) • Virtualization of Linux and Windows • CornShell • Provisioning and configuration automation Bonus Knowledge: • Master's degree and/or Retail Technology Experience • Familiar with LAN/WAN operations #DICEJobs Retail Business Services is an equal opportunity employer.
