Position Title: Specialist II IMACPosition Location: Salisbury, NC

Position Summary: Provides leadership, supervision, and project management to support IMAC (Installation, Move, Add, Change) activities as it relates to Retail Systems Hardware and Software. These activities occur in conjunction with: new and replacement stores; remodels and expansions; system upgrades or replacements; and implementation of new store technologies. Manager has overall project responsibility including detailed planning, bidding/negotiating/awarding work, ordering equipment, keeping within budget, and providing direction to the IMAC Technical Specialists and outside vendors. Manager also actively participates in the receipt, transportation, installation, configuration, and testing of Retail Systems Equipment. Other tasks include facilitating planning sessions, reviewing/marking floor plans, attending Site Meetings, working closely with Construction for scheduling, etc., managing outside vendors (electrical, installation, etc.), and administrative duties such as recording inventories, serial numbers, etc. Work may include evening and weekends hours as required to minimize impact to Store Operations.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Manage all activities and timelines related to the installation of IT equipment• Scheduling and leading project planning meetings• Coordinate activities with Construction including redline sessions and site readiness determination• Create SOWs for vendor RFPs, evaluate quotes, vendor selection• Manage all work performed by internal Technicians and vendors including staging, scheduling and quality control• Work with other IT groups to test all technology within store and participate in break-fix walkthrough for the purpose of turning over service responsibility prior to opening/reopening.• Follow documented process for capturing asset informationProvide subject matter expertise and installation support for pilots extending into rollout• Provide consulting for all projects affecting hardware within the Retail space.• Manage the pilot installs to test and prove installation documents and procedures including any SOW work for infrastructure and/or vendor work• Create SOWs for rollout RFPs for infrastructure and vendor manpower• Manage emergency changes required during pilots to limit impact to business• Make recommendations and provide direction for the numerous exceptions regarding equipment placement, connection, power protection and network connectivity.• Create technical and physical installation documents.Provide complete Project Management services for internal IMAC run projects• Take objectives, scope, start and end dates and create a SOW by division for bidding by numerous vendors (at least 3 per division).• Develop a timeline for testing, pilots, problem mitigation, to produce a schedule ultimately approved by the business and the Deployment manager.• Draft communications for stakeholders and store managers.• Create technical and physical installation documents.• Follow up on work performed and continue to document best practices.Deinstall all IT equipment and prepare for disposition, log all assets• Follow deinstallation timelines for systematic closing of a retail facility• Protect, recover and prepare all IT equipment for shipment to IMAC warehouse• Produce required documents transferring assets from the store to the warehouseManage individual store IMAC requests• Respond to individual store requests and provide quote for financial approval• Upon financial approval, schedule work to minimize impact to store operations• Follow up on work performed and continue to document best practices Requirements Basic Qualifications:High school, vocational/technical, BA degree5+ years
