As a Field Service Engineer II, you'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team, committed to sharing knowledge and helping each other succeed. Your role involves troubleshooting, servicing, installing, and repairing Trace and X-Ray equipment at customer sites ensuring first class customer satisfaction.You will providing support to our clients in the region of the Netherlands and Belgium. Due to the sensitive nature of the work involved, we can only consider applicants that are eligible for the Dutch security clearance, sponsorship is not available.Responsibilities: Meet daily service repair needs and drive customer satisfactionInstall, repair and maintain Smiths equipment in the field, provide customer training as neededDocument all inspections, maintenance and repair work promptly.Manage repair parts cycle time, order, install and return parts efficientlyReview logs for open issues, prepare formal reports for clientMainaint and calibrate tools and test equipmentProvide technical support to client and peersParticipate in the site surveys, pilot programs, special projects and meetingsEstablish and maintain close relationships with Senior FSEs and Product ManagersEnsure compliance with health, safety and environmental policiesCommunicates technical information in a clear, concise, and highly effective method Informs management and other service departments of technical service issues.
