As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering complete, accurate and on-time deliveries while representing North 40 Outfitters in a highly professional and safe manner that complies with DOT and other applicable regulations.If you are a punctual, conscientious individual who enjoys working within a team and is committed to doing a job well, we want to talk to you!We provide a fun and rewarding work environment, a phenomenal employee discount, excellent benefits, and dedication to you as part of our team. Qualifications
- Prepare and operate company owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations for the delivery, pickup and relocation of products and materials by assisting in and overseeing the loading and unloading of trucks and securing its items
- Ensure vehicles are in proper working condition by performing required before, during and after operation "user maintenance" by inspecting truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc.
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures
- Maintain communication with company during deliveries to ensure any updates instructions are received
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition
- Comply with forklift training, safety and operation standards
- Safely operateand maintainforklifts and other warehouse equipment as required at-all-times
- Follow all company, DOT and OSHA Safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe driving record free of violations
- Recognize and prevent theft and shrink
- Recognize safety and security risks and remedy the situation and alert proper personnel
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
