Position SummaryThe Associate Technical Architect role is responsible for ensuring the success of integrations and application customizations at Financial Institutions when integrating external systems with nCino. Using the nCino Integration Framework, Apex, and various JavaScript libraries, these integrations & customizations are the method for retrieving, pushing, consolidating or combining any 3rd party system with the nCino platform. These integrations can act as provider or consumer integrations with various event or schedule driven data triggers. This role will act as a technical evangelist for either the Financial Institution, the Implementation Services vendor or the nCino Technical Architect on projects for all things data and 3rd party integration. The technical consultant will assist Technical Architect and Solution Architect team members with POC's, as well as the development of end-to-end solutions when required. The role will help evaluate business requirements for large projects and then further assist the Financial Institution or the IS vendor in the actual implementation. This role is customer facing and requires a unique blend of technical experience, creativity, and interpersonal and communication skills. Travel onsite to customers and vendors is a requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance development expertise for financial institutions and Implementation Service Consultants when building integrations into the nCino/Force.com platform using the nCino Integration Framework.
  • Travel onsite to meet with customers for face to face requirements gathering and design sessions.
  • Provide technical input back to nCino Product Development based on the real world field work and feedback.
  • Help build integrations from 3rd party systems into the nCino platform using any number of technical solutions based on the desired and proper approach for each unique project.
  • Document solutions for support and maintenance.
  • Build and document requirements for unique projects.
  • Build and document testing requirements for unique projects.
  • Provide solution and integration development with Salesforce.com including requirements, functional specs, design, custom development, integration, testing and deployment.
  • E valuate vendor API and interface specifications.
  • Handle multiple projects effectively while continuing to deliver exceptional quality.
  • Be able to focus on customer success.
  • Translate customer requirements into implementation plans.
  • Drive customer success with a team player attitude.
  • Have a strong focus on 'hands-on' keyboard and develop integrations and develop code when required for a project.
  • Develop a salesforce solution that meets the needs of the customer.
  • Learn and fully understand the nCino platform and the business problems it solves.
  • Learn and fully understand the nCino platform data model and how it interacts with all parts of the system.
  • Effectively track time and bill for hours worked on customer projects.

Qualifications/Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification or ability to obtain certification within the first six months of employment
  • Strong research, analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ETL/integration platforms such as Mulesoft, Informatica, SnapLogic, etc.
  • Exposure to Salesforce.com configuration and custom development.
  • Excellent understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns, as well as prior work with object-oriented languages such as Java, Ruby, C#, C.

Desired:
  • Informatica experience .
  • Experience with Apex, SOQL, XML, JavaScript.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Migration Tool, Web Services.
  • Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong customer and professional skills.

Travel Requirements

  • Position requires up to 50% travel.
