As a Master Architect, you will be part of a team responsible for the overall architecture of the nCino platform, policies, and procedures. You will oversee the design of product features and perform extensive research and development on new technologies, frameworks and methodologies. Working with architects, product managers and development teams, your experience and contributions will help to guide the technical direction of nCino.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Architectural stewardship of nCino platform
  • Investigation and evaluation of new technologies and patterns
  • Establishing innovative, whole product integrations with various banking cores
  • Design and develop sustainable enterprise software, integrations and system architectures on the Force.com platform
  • Work with the application teams and business owners to craft and drive a product roadmap for our data services, API, and integration platform
  • Provide technical leadership for the improvement of existing applications in an agile development environment
  • Advise on selection and usage of IT products that will help improve business needs based on cost benefit analysis and research
  • Introduce standard methodologies and lead improvements to keep nCino applications current while always achieving better security, performance, and maintainability
  • Craft technical artifacts and presentations to communicate architectural design options that help educate development teams and business users
  • Communicate and coordinate with leadership to transform business goals into technical objectives
  • Work closely with Sales and Support teams to resolve high priority issues

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience with object oriented analysis and design on modern web application development platforms
  • 3+ years of experience working in a similar architectural leadership position
  • Track record of analyzing, building and maintaining integrations with banking cores
  • Proven skill in building dynamic applications with development languages such as Apex, Java and C#
  • Expert knowledge of client-side development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Knockout, etc.)
  • Expert in foundational web service and API technologies such as WSDL, WS, SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, and JSON
  • Experience building on cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Force.com)
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement
  • Motivated worker with the ability to be productive in a dynamic team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent problem solving, decision-making, and social skills

Desired:
  • Prior mentoring and team leading experience
  • Experience developing managed packages as part of the Salesforce ISV Partner Program
  • Highly flexible with excellent collaboration and prioritization skills
  • Real passion for software development and technology
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns, Apex and Lightning
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
  • Background in Financial Services or Banking
