The Senior Project Manager - Release in Product Development & Engineering will be a part of the Release Management team that ensures consistent success of the nCino product releases, from planning through release to production. The Project Manager is responsible for tracking and coordinating the departmental readiness activities throughout the release process. They will collaborate with Product Development & Engineering's teams to prioritize and coordinate activities in support of release goals. The Project Manager must be well-versed in problem-solving, project coordination, prioritization, and communications. The Project Manager will monitor release activities including timing, process, tasks, defects, milestones, and participation requirements for key stakeholders. They will be responsible for understanding roadblocks for all teams involved and can remove roadblocks and communicate the risks.

This candidate should be highly organized, possess outstanding communication & conflict resolution skills, work well with all teams and adhere to deadlines consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate product releases across multiple product teams
  • Create and oversee detailed release schedules
  • Ensure internal stakeholders are informed of release status and risks
  • Manage the Release and Change Management processes
  • Responsible for assuring release package approvals and on-time deployment
  • Participate in product release planning
  • Proactively participate in team Scrum events to identify risks to product releases
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance Manager and Product Management on the prioritization of critical feature and product fixes
  • Manage Patch Schedule and production bug issues in collaboration with the Product Owner and Support Teams
Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 4+ years of Agile/Scrum product delivery experience
  • 2+ years' experience either:
    • working w/large teams and managing large software project plans that affect multiple facets of a company
    • developing release strategies for a technical company
    • managing multiple releases & projects w/ continuous integration delivery process

  • Proven track record of managing multi-faceted, highly detailed projects and overseeing teams
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, Systems Engineering, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented and ability to enforce processes
  • Ability to work in an environment at a fast pace and with changing priorities

Desired:
  • Knowledge of the commercial, small business banking, treasury, consumer space in relation to both processes and regulations
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Working knowledge of AWS
  • Working knowledge of Integration packaging
  • Experience with issue tracking software such as JIRA, Trello, TFS
  • Experience with continuous integration or automated testing
  • Experience with defect management or quality assurance
