We are currently hiring for the position of Personal Assistant/Bookkeeper. Your responsibilities would include maintaining financial data for 4 separate small businesses and keeping Quickbooks updated. You would work directly with the 2 owners of these businesses and our CPA as needed for reporting and taxes. We would require your Quickbooks records to be exceptionally precise, but would pass the responsibility of tax law and filing to our CPA. Additionally, you would prepare checks, monitor credit card balances, AP, AR, payment dates, etc on a regular basis. Those would be your primary responsibilities and you would perform those on a regular and consistent basis.

Beyond that, you would assist the 2 owners with many random tasks, assignments, errands, projects, etc. as needed. These will most always be work related, but could also be personal errands from time to time. You would be responsible for maintaining a schedule for at least one of the owners and keeping him updated throughout the day. You will need to have and maintain a valid drivers license and transportation during any weather conditions. You will also need to be easy to get in touch via cell phone, text, and or email. While we will train in some areas as needed, the following are requirements:

- history of financial tracking/bookkeeping

- detail oriented

- precise

- honest

- efficient

- working knowledge of Google Drive

- excellent writing skills

- pleasant telephone skills

- high level of self-accountability

- very punctual

- quickly learns new software systems

- absolute non-disclosure of any information shared with you from the companies, employees, owners, or subsidiaries

The position is full-time salary 41-43 hours per week. Monday through Friday 9-6 with some Saturday hours from time to time. There may be an opportunity for you to spend some time working from home. Communication with the owners may be needed before and after your normal hours.
