Job Description

- Perform a variety of sample preparations for flavor panel
- Schedule panelists using Outlook, and maintain professional communication via phone and email
- Prepare product samples; manage consumable inventory; manage labware and paperwork
- Purchase supplies and perform P-card reconciliation
- Use SIMS software to generate ballots
- Generate miscellaneous documentation for training and for use by panelists
- Assist as needed with summarizing results
- Write, review and update work instructions
- Communicates effectively with client staff members
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
Other Duties may include but are not limited to, the following:
- Ability to manage multiple consumer testing projects simultaneously, including
- Manage consumable inventory
- Prepare samples for sensory panelists
- Set-up and take-down of panelist samples
- Schedule panelists in Outlook; accommodate panelists for rescheduling
- Support senior scientists with administrative tasks: Including but not limited to Programming and checking market research surveys/tests, data analysis and report verification, manage consumer panelists and panel performance.
- Use Excel to maintain/track product databases, budget, and panelist payments
- Create new work instructions; review, update, and edit existing work instructions
- Purchase supplies and perform P-card reconciliation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or marketing research related discipline, or equivalent directly-related experience
- At least 2 years laboratory, quality control, or administrative experience
- Experience in Marketing research or Chemistry or related discipline
- Experience with basic statistical analysis is a plus
- Very strong computer skills; excellent proficiency in Microsoft software suite
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain self-motivation
- Detail oriented
- Strong Project Management skills
- Strong scientific background
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and via E-mail
- High level of professionalism; professional appearance as a client-interfacing ambassador of the company
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Personable, pleasant, and agreeable. Positive attitude.
- Patience and adaptability with changing schedules on short notice
- Flexibility to come in early or stay late to accommodate clients
